The journey so far…


In 2017, I qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer and soon after launched Orca Personal Training, working with individuals and small groups. I had done this for a number of years before starting to work online in 2021.

It became apparent that the traditional model of personal training wasn’t able to help many of my clients with their struggles and what they wanted to achieve. In 2021, I launched Orca Online Coaching to give me a platform to coach my clients remotely and be able to address the issues my clients were facing.

The accountability, round-the-clock support and education that the online coaching service provided meant my clients were getting the results they deserved.

Orca Online Coaching evolved into Black Blade Fitness in 2023 and I started working online with an increasing number of people in their late-forties to early-sixties.

We use our Plan, Protect and Perform framework to help our clients make the changes they want, educate them on how to protect those changes and then help them undertake their E.P.I.C.

    Plan

    Everyone starts here.

    In this phase, we make the change.

    Whether that is losing body fat, improving fitness or implementing healthier habits, I’ll guide you through what tweaks and adjustments we need to make and then provide the accountability to make sure you are doing what you need to do, to make that change happen.

    Protect

    Once we have completed the plan phase, we move to the protect phase.

    We want the positive changes you have made to be permanent.

    I’ll coach you through the skills and tools you need to develop, to help protect those changes for the long term.

    Perform

    (This phase is optional)

    Some clients make a positive change and focus on protecting it for the long term. Others want to take it further: they’re now leaner, fitter, and happier.

    Using this new-found confidence, we go on to define your E.P.I.C (Every Person’s Individual Challenge). That might be a 10k race, a Tough Mudder event, a triathlon, a marathon, climbing a mountain or something similar.

    Whatever the challenge, I can help you prepare for it.
